My mother sold all to her last wrapper to take care of me

  • by

I became who I am today through her help, I have two real estate company, and I’m a digital tech who work for three white companies. Remotely, and I’m paid in pounds, so money isn’t the problem but to enjoy.

When I got married, or before I got married, having known the sacrosanct of marriage. I love and respect my home, my marriage and my husband. When I bought my house, my husband, then fiance was living in two bedroom. So when I bought my duplex of five bedroom because of my family, and his. I told him he would move into my house and control it as a man, and nothing will change.

I told him my family is my life, especially my mother, that she is all I live for except God and myself. There was this thing he used to tell me, my mother doesn’t always have to visit and stay long with my family. I would laugh it off as if it was nothing, I didn’t read nothing into that.

So my mother was sick, I told him I’m bringing my mother to Lagos so I could take proper care of her, her hospital and check ups. We grew up in a thatch house but I built a befitting house for my mother in the village.

My husband kicked against it, he said my mother doesn’t have to come and stay in our house, it’ll be too inconvenient. But he forgot that I told him to bring his own mother when she was sick. In fact, he didn’t even take permission from me before bringing his mother. We only talked about it, but didn’t tell me and I had no problem, I took care of mother in-law for one year and 7 months. Her hospital bills, her money for surgery and all the expenses until she was strong. Even when she was okay, she still stayed as long as she wanted before she left. With money, food and clothes from me which I was even thrilled to do it.

He told me I shouldn’t bring my mother, there’s so many good hospitals in Anambra, professionals are there, I should pay for it. Nobody will stay at home to take care of her, and it’ll be too inconvenient. But I was the one who took care of yours, paid for a caregiver when I’m at work.

In my house I shouldn’t bring my own mother who went through hell and back for me, to get here?. He was so serious, he said he will provide food or whatever my mother would want and the hospital bill. Did she mentioned she lack food?. I called his mother to come so we can discuss, matter fact, he was the one that asked his mother to come and relax in Lagos. So I had the discussion with her, I told her what my husband is saying.

I was shocked when she said I shouldn’t be stubborn and disobey my husband, I should listen to him. If he says it’s better my mother stays in the village in the good house I built for her, good doctors and good hospital, then fine. Jesus mama is this really you? After all I did for her?.

I brought my mother, he was angry and told me to allow my mother stay for just a few days. She would go, he will find a good person to go with her so as to take care of her. I said he wouldn’t dare, not with my mother in my house. I asked about his mother I cared for, for almost two years, and she comes at will. He told me he’s the head and it’s different with his mother cause it’s his house.

I came back from work and was told by my gateman that, my husband and his mother took my very sick mother to the park. Just so she can go back to the village alone, when I brought her myself with flight to live with me.

My mother called and was crying on the phone, I almost went mãd. I drove inside, himself and his mother were at the dining eating when I slãppëd him twice and poured him water. I even poured the food on him, both him and his mother.

I went out in a few minutes, called them boys to come kick all of them out of my house with whatever ñønsêñse they had. Just their clothes, I kicked them out and I burnt the remaining of all his clothes. That same day i boarded night flight to go bring my mother back.

Me and my boys kicked them out like a common criminãl. My mother is enjoying my house, doing whatever she likes, and her health is getting better.

I am Mirach Amba the best of me and the best of my kind
