These Golden, Flaky Ham & Cheese Crescent Rolls are an easy appetizer, breakfast, or quick lunch made with buttery crescent dough, savory deli ham, and melted cheese. A brush of melted butter and everything bagel seasoning gives them a deliciously crisp, flavorful topping.
Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices deli ham
- 8 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the crescent dough
Open the tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it. Separate the dough into the individual triangles along the perforated lines.
3. Add the ham
Place a slice of deli ham over each crescent triangle. If the ham is larger than the dough, fold or trim it so it fits neatly inside.
4. Add the cheese
Place a slice of Swiss or cheddar cheese on top of the ham. Avoid placing too much cheese near the edges, as it can melt out during baking.
5. Roll them up
Starting at the wide end of each triangle, tightly roll the dough toward the pointed tip. Gently tuck the ham and cheese inside as you roll.
6. Arrange on the baking sheet
Place each crescent roll on the prepared baking sheet with the pointed end tucked underneath. Leave a little space between each roll.
7. Brush with butter
Brush the tops of the crescent rolls generously with the melted butter.
8. Add the seasoning
Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning evenly over the tops.
9. Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are puffed and beautifully golden brown and the cheese is melted.
10. Cool and serve
Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool for 3–5 minutes before serving. They are best served warm while the cheese is still gooey.
